<It was karaoke night at the Sour Note.  Duo and Heero decided to get away from the rest of the group so they could have a little downtime together. They were both casually dressed. Heero wore his trademark Spandex shorts, and tank top.  Duo was a bit more flamboyant.  he wore a pair of ripped jeans, a tight, red cotton shirt, a black leather jacket, and his baseball cap.  His braid hung lazily over his jacket as he sat with Heero.
     Duo planned on being the first one on stage so that he could serenade Heero with a lovely rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon". For weeks, he had been practicing at every free moment he had.  He would dance in front of the mirror making sure that his moves were perfect.
     The only problem was that someone had beaten him to the punch.  Someone had signed up to do a song before him, and he had a feeling about who that "Someone" was.
     The lights in the Sour Note dimmed, and an M.C. stepped up to the microphone to announce the first performer of the night. "Ladies and gentleman, the Sour Note proudly presents the first performer of the evening. I bring to you "Her Royal Badness, The Pink  One...Relena-sama!"
     Relena stepped into the spotlight dressed to kill...literally.  She wore a pair of white slacks, with a pink cashmere sweater.  Her hair was pulled back and tied with a cutesy pink ribbon.  The spotlight sparkled off the huge diamonds in her ears, nearly blinding anyone who dared look straight at them.
     Relena picked up the microphone, and the music began to play. Duo knew right away what song it was. It was a rendition of an old hit from the 1980's called "The Beautiful Ones" by Prince. Once she was cued, she began to sing in a high shrill voice.>

     <Relena began walking seductively over to Heero. He sweatdropped and put his face in his hands as he shook his head. "K'so. What does this woman think she's doing?">

     <Duo wrapped his long hair around his neck, and made like he was about to hang himself.  Poor Heero tried to get up and run away from Relena, but she got to him before he had a chance, and she continued singing in her painfully high voice.>

    < "Iie, iie, iie!" said Heero. The mention of marriage REALLY got to him. He just wanted to spend time unwinding with his Duo-kun.  "Relena, are you crazy?  I don't want you."
     But Relena would not listen, she just kept on singing, trying to get her point across.
     If he remembered this song correctly, Duo knew what was coming next.  Quicker than lightning, Duo grabbed napkins, twisted them, and stuck them in his ears.  He did the same thing for his companion.  Heero looked at Duo like he had lost his mind, but Duo reassured him with a kiss on the cheek. He then mouthed the words "Trust Me" to Heero.>

     <It was a good thing that Duo remembered the song because now it had reached its climax.  Without positioning the microphone away from her mouth, Relena raised her voice and yelled into the mic, pointing alternately at Duo, and herself as she looked at Heero.>

     As she did her big finale, glassware all over the bar began to shatter.  The Microphone shorted out, and smoke began pouring out of the karaoke machine.  The audience just looked at Relena like she was a madwoman.
     Heero looked up and took out his makeshift earplugs.  He tapped Duo on the shoulder. "Oi, Duo-kun!  It's over. I'll take you over her anyday! Let's get out of here!
     Duo looked up, and removed his earplugs as well. He shivered and looked Heero. "Uhhh...Heero-kun, let's get out of here. She scares me."
     Duo grabbed Heero, and they both made their way out of the Sour Note, leaving Relena high and dry.
     Relena scanned the bar, looking for a way to salvage her pride.  Her eyes landed on a very handsome young boy with long red hair.  What stood out in Relena's eyes was the fact that he was wearing pink!  Hearts danced in her eyes and around her head as she ran over to the dashingly handsome pink-clad youth.
     "Hi what's your na...."
     Before she could finish, a short spikey-haired boy in a black robe was between her and her dream man.  She barely had a chance to blink, when all of a sudden a sword was at her throat. "Don't even think about it heifer!"
     The short boy grabbed his companion. "Let's get out of here, Kurama. This place makes me sick"
     The red-haired boy looked at Relena and shrugged his shoulders as he chuckled.  "Arigato Hiei!  I don't want to end up in the same position as that other couple."
